19th century Australian Kauri pine dresser/bookcase in two parts.
The base consists of two drawers, two paneled doors below and rusty metal side panels.
The top consists of 3 shelves with glazed doors to keep out dust.
All of the timber is solid Kauri including the shelving and backs of cabinets (12mm thick)
Fully restored in french polish with a honey-coloured glow.
All of the components have been glued and repaired to good order.
The cast metal catch on the glazed doors is possibly early 20th century and works well.
Lovely to touch and look at with massive storage.
