A large quality English made mahogany bracket clock with an eight day quarter striking German movement impressed Peerless with the number 219391z. The strike sequence on this is as follows, on the first quarter hour (quarter past the hour) it does one two tone double strike, on the half hour it does two two tone double strikes, on the three quarter hour it does three two tone double strikes and on the hour it strikes the single hours. (ie five strikes for five o-clock etc.) The mahogany case is in excellent original glowing condition, never been stripped and re polished and the inlay is genuine, not transfers! Comes complete with key and pendulum.
