A large and impressive pair of gilt bronze Rococo Revival candlesticks C1865, Second Empire, Napoleon III period. They stand 27 cm tall, and retain their original bobeche. The balusters have three distinct sides. One features an shield shaped cartouche into which your crest or cypher might be engraved. Another has a shell within a C scroll. The third features two opposing C scrolls with shell striations between. Heavy and large, these candlesticks are undoubtedly opulent and luxurious.@Camberwell
