Carved gilt eagle mirror English Regency

Antique gorgeous well carved mirror of the English Regency period circa 1820. Solid wooden circular frame with ornate carved gilt eagle with outstreched wings on a rocky outcrop mounted atop and flanked by gilt neoclassical scrolls. Elegant carved border surrounding a n egg and dart inner frame with original fitted straight bevel edged mirror glass. Although these round Regency period frames usually hold convex glass mirror plates this is a rare example with a straight mirror glass.
