Large Rose Cut Diamond Brooch

A large Rose Cut Diamond and 9ct gold foliate brooch, with 18 ct gold pin. I think it is Peranakan. The diamonds are set directly into gold, while in European jewellery they would have been set in silver, and later, white gold or platinum, mounts. Big: 6 cm wide. Counted 38 diamonds, I think. Soon to be at Camberwell Antique Centre $3250. Rose Cuts are the only diamonds I really love.
