Scottish Georgian longcase clock 1770

Antique Georgian Scottish longcase clock grandfather clock 2 weights 8 day movement signed by Andrew Dickie Edinburgh 1770's Traditional design late Georgian oak cabinet with shaped swann neck pediment and columns flanking the glazed arch top door. Original silvered chapter ring dial with calendar window, second hand sweep and signed by the maker with ornate corner mouldings. It has the traditional two train movements: time keeping and separate striking with top mounted bell. The bell strikes the hour count. The clock case with scroll carved pediment top and moulded ornaments.
