Impressive large Victorian display wall charger eletrotype silver plate with ornate sculpted figures, English circa 1880's In very good original condition this gorgeous quality wall plate or charger in silver plated depicts various neoclassical themes in the French Renaissance manner. The back is signed with a plaque for Francois Briot. This A similar example is displayed in the Louvre in Paris and in the Victoria and Albert Museum London and is by Elkington.
