French Louis writing desk salon table

Antique French Louis XVI writing table lady's desk with ormolu and superb marquetry inlay The blonde walnut top with floral marquetry inlay and brass banded edge. Underneath and hidden within the apron is a single drawer. The whole raised on turned and fluted neoclassical legs and joined by a shaped stretcher with finial centre. The table is beautifully veneered in pale walnut with satinwood inlay and retains its original shellac french polished finish. This salon or centre table is perfect as a ladies writing desk and is polished all round to be in the centre of a room. Legroom 62cm high
