Antique late 18th century Louis XVI desk in well figured mahogany. This rare Danish late 18th century bureau desk comes apart into 3 easy movable sections. The top with its Gustavian reeded front drawer flanked by arched pediments sits on top of the mid section . A central door opens with a key and reveals interior drawers. This is flanked by clever design tambour front doors that slide sideways to open onto bookshelves. The lower section with a double front drawer that folds opens with a key and slides out eaasily to reveal a fitted interior. 3 full width deep drawers below.
