Antique Australian Colonial era writing desk with 2 deep drawers entirely made of solid Australian coastal red cedar with vivid lively woodgrain. The gorgeous cedar top with a lovely grain has been so many tales to tell and has a gorgeous patina. The full depth drawers below the top are also in full Australian cedar with turned knobs made of Huon pine. Raised on four elegant late Regency turned legs this early Tasmanian colonial 1835's era desk or hall table has many uses. Warm waxed polished finish all round so it can stand in the centre of a room, against a wall ready for immediate work
