Burl walnut canterbury music rack 1860

Antique Victorian burl walnut canterbury with carved fretwork supports and pierced brass gallery top English circa 1860. Polished all round this canterbury with burl walnut top with gothic arched brass gallery resting on two ornate pierced walnut supports. These terminate to a substantial shaped base raised on turned legs. The base has a hidden drawer and has two further divisions above also with matching carved fretwork. The term "canterbury" refers to the a furniture item that stored sheet music and folios ...and later Lp records and magazines. English Victorian 1860
