An Antique French Louis XVI small chest of 2 drawers with original patina bronze escutcheons taper legs circa 1790 The beautifully faded or pale flame mahogany top with a goregeous patina finish over two drawers. Each drawer opens with an ornate key in the traditional push pull manner. All drawer runners have been serviced replaced wehre needed for a trouble free glide. Ornate bronze escutcheon and working keys add to the charm of thios late 18th century piece of french furniture. Both drawers are fitted with original working locks.
