French rosewood bureau plat desk 1860's

Antique French Louis XV writing desk in Brazilian rosewood marquetry with original leather insert top gilt bronze ormolu mounts and polished all round. The serpentine shaped top with gilt tooled leather surface in pale sienna yellow surrounded by moulded brass edging. The original desk top with gilt tooled edge leather top with matching extension slides to either side with a lovely well cared for patina. Original leather is a value point! 3 drawers to one side and three dummy drawers to the other side. Each drawer with original brass locks and a matching key is supplied. Clearance 63cm
