Empire scroll top pier mirror inlaid

Original Empire wall mirror in mahogany inlaid in string satinwood circa 1810. Well designed with architectural pediment scroll top with two gilt bronze ormolu roundels. The mahogany veneered surface inlaid with satinwood marquetry stringing. The large mirror insert with original hand drawn glass. The original mirror glass is a value point as the glass was usually far more expensive, due to technical limitations at the time, than the frame that surrounded it.
