Carved wood gilt framed Venetian style wall mirror with ornate acanthus scrolls corners with good original gold leaf finish in the Italian baroque manner Although this hand carved wood frame looks to be 1720's it dates from the first half of the 20th century. The original centre mirror surrounded by four mitre jointed sectional mirrors. The unique design allows it to be hung landscape ( wide) or portrait ( tall) style with good solid mirror plate.
