Vienna tallboy chest of drawers 1815

Antique Austrian Biedermeier chest of 6 drawers tallboy with rare owl face walnut facade circa 1815 The superb quality of this chest is highly sought after for its simplicity of design and timless elegance. Beautifully selected walnut veneers all hand cut and book matched to form the tripple owl faces to the front of the chest. Each drawer pulls open with the working key. All drawers open very smoothly and retain original steel locks with shield shaped inlaid escutcheons. Fully restored and in excellent condition cloth lined interiors. Austrian Empire circa 1815
