Georgian oak carved bible box trunk 1760

Antique Georgian 1760 oak flat top trunk bible box chest with ornate carved panels and lift top raised on separate lift of oak base. A rarity of this antique oak chest is its small size which is ideal as a coffee table etc. The lift top lid retains its original patina wax polish. The trunk body with panel sides and front all with traditional 18th century carved details.. Fitted with a working lock and key and on later Victorian era oak stand. The box lifts off this pedestal. The body made entirely of solid oak. A lovely warm patina with original waxed finish is a value point.
