Pair Danish Empire inlaid armchairs 1880

Pair Danish Empire armchairs desk chairs marquetry and mahogany and woolwork upholstered seats 1880. The ergonomic sligh backrests with a central backsplat inlaid with a neoclassical urn in satinwood. Satinwood inlaid stringing and legant curved armrests resting on turned urn supports. The vintage woolwork seat is hand stitched with floral design and is supported by springs for extra comfort. Raised on well proportioned sabre legs. Original french polished finish. Nice and sturdy ideal as desk or client chairs for a Scandinavian late 19th century home. Danish 1880's
