Antique oil painting on canvas of the Changsha steamer clipper built in 1886 original artwork in wooden frame and under glass. This superb maritime painting is of the Glasgow built Changsha, a steamer clipper that transported passengers from Hong Kong to Australia. She was built at Scotts Greenock in Glasgow for the China Navigation Company London in 1886. She was a 2,269 gross tons single screw steamship clipper with 2 masts rigged for sailpower. In 1912 she was sold to the Australian Oriental Line Sydney. This painting shows the Changsha under full steam with A&O Line house flag
