Blonde bow front chest of drawers 1820

An antique Danish Empire bow front chest of 4 drawers. The mahogany veneered solid oak curved front or bow front body with rounded molding. Top drawer usually reserved for laceworrk and finery of shallow design with working key and lock. Each drawer is fitted with turned brass knob handles. All drawers are fitted with original steel locks. Raised on chamfered tapering legs to front and back. This gorgeous late Empire period chest would suit many uses and is perfect for hallways or as a bedside. Good original patina finish. Scandinavian 1820
