Regency chair rare gondola back 1815

Antique rare Gondola back Regency period dining chair with a large comfortable seat in woven horsehair 1815. The elegant carved back with its acanthus scroll design and curvaceous ergonomic properties hugs and supports the spine nicely. The back uprights are carved and scroll forward elegantly to the seat rail. Large lift-off seat is upholstered in vintage woven horsehair fabric and is raised by two saber legs at back and two turned and carved front legs. Thel frame is strong and sturdy and the seat height is excellent for modern comfort at 46cm high. Very good sturdy condition
