Rare set silvered placemats coasters

Antique set of 6 various sized silver plated placemats or large coasters. Genuine antique Scandinavian originals of late 1800's in good original condition. These intricate designs are engraved onto brass or copper in the Georgian manner of the 18th century. Silver has been applied in the mercurial gilding manner and a thick felt base applied underneath. This set consists of two large placemats of 20 cm each and 6 similar place mats of 16 cm diameter each. These antique Scandinavian placemats protect tables and polished surfaces from scratches. Scandinavian late 19th century
